I told you to be patient I told you to be fine I told you to be balanced I told you to be kind In the morning I'll be with you But it will be a different kind I'll be holding all the tickets And you'll be owning all the fines
Dear Santa, please tell Apple to stop dumbing down their computer Operating system, if I want iOS on a big screen i would buy an iPad. What I do want is a’ real’ computer OS that is lean mean, fast stable, Snow Leopard was a big step in the right direction so why jump 3 steps back with Lion, with all its pointless bloat fluff. Instead of wasting time on all these shiny bells and whistles, Native support for NTFS would have been much more appreciated.
Things that suck about OS X 10.7.2 Lion and why after 5 months of trying to use it I am reluctantly going back to 10.6.8 Snow Leopard:
No ‘Save As’- I can no longer choose where to save files created in Text Edit!! - crazy bitches.
Auto Reopen windows - OMG this is soooooooo annoying, waiting ages at boot up for all previously open Application to load up sucks. It should be turned off by default instead of having to hold down keyboard shortcuts or click check boxes every damn time.
iCal / Address Book - Microsoft Exchange Server support which was fine in SL is now very unstable, Ical swaps days with the wrong dates and freezes when doing rudimentary calendar manipulations. Address Book is just weird.
Trackpad Gestures - revealing the Desktop is now a chore with ‘spread thumb and three fingers’ at least allow me to customise them.
Holding down mouse on an applications icon in the dock to reveal open windows was very useful and missed even with Mission Control.
Launch Pad - No thanks. Finder Columns view when dragging the Applications folder to the Dock was much more intuitive and discrete.
Curio - My fav and most used Mac app now displays a spinning beach-ball for 5 secs every time I open a project. Presume it is some issue with Auto Resume, but no fix from Developer.

Spanish artist Yolanda Dominguez had women re-enact poses from fashion magazines in public as performance art.
